PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation fare adjusting device which makes it possible to pay a discount fare by using not a ride ticket card for discount, but an ordinary ride ticket card.;SOLUTION: The transportation fare adjusting device is equipped with a storage part 40 having a time band table 41 which contains discount time bands and a fare table 42 containing normal fares and discount fares of specific use sections. The time band table 41 is referenced to decide whether or not the use time of a train ticket card is included in a discount time band and when it is decided that the use time is included, a specific discount fare is applied according to the fare table 42.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
