PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting and moving device capable of freely changing the direction during moving by a simple operation and easily carrying an article to be carried to a required place such as installation places.;SOLUTION: The lifting and moving device is equipped with a lifting mechanism 10 arranged on a moving/ traveling block 1 so as to elevate/lower a lifter 15 by a lever action due to the oscillation of a lifting operation handle 14 and a traveling stabilization mechanism 20 which advances a retracting/advancing block 21 capable of traveling by an advancing/retracting operation handle 24 attached to the lifting operation handle 14 under a lifted lifter 15 and retracts backward of the moving/traveling block 1. The lifting and moving device forms the parallel link mechanism between the moving/traveling block 1 and a lifter 15 through a hinge block 41. The lifting and moving device forms the direction change mechanism 40 which can be oscillated in the right and left by a shaft 42 provided on a hinge block 41 and can oscillate the lifter 15 itself with the retracting/advancing block 21 rotatably placing a lower edge part of a back surface side of the lifter 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
