PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and reliable rotary fluid machine by reducing mechanical loss due to slide of a piston (roller) and an intermediate blocking member, and avoiding strong contact causing disability of operation.;SOLUTION: A rotary expansion mechanism 102 is provided with cylinders 103, 104, an intermediate plate 118 dividing each cylinder 103, 104, rollers 106, 107 eccentrically rotating in the cylinders 103, 104, and a shaft 105 having the rollers 106, 107 mounted along an axial direction. A communication hole 118a allowing movement of working fluid from a downstream side operation chamber of the first cylinder 103 to an upstream side operation chamber of the second cylinder 104 is formed on the intermediate pate 118, and working fluid expands with accompanying movement through the communication hole 118a. Clearance SH between the second roller 107 and the intermediate plate 118 in the axial direction increases as it goes toward a center in a radial direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
