PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save time and effort of inputting a facsimile number in transmitting a replaying document to an original document received by fax to the transmission source of the original document. PSOLUTION: A user selects and edits a target facsimile document with a client terminal 1. Also, the user instructs the execution of "fax reply function" for replying to the transmission source of the document. A processing control unit of the client terminal 1 acquires the data of the target fax document from a document management server 2 via a network 7, acquires the fax number of the transmission source from the document property thereof, and delivers the fax number and the image data to a fax reply function section. The fax reply function section sets the fax number on a PC-FAX driver, and then delivers the image data to instructs fax transmission.
