PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of earth retaining wall capable of performing a construction under a sever condition such as no setting place for a temporary scaffold, and suppressing the term of works and the construction cost.;SOLUTION: In this construction method of earth retaining wall, an inclinable inclined mast part is provided between a chuck part and a mast part through a rotating seat. Accordingly, the rotating motion of the inclined mast part within the vertical plane is never disturbed by the existing pile grasping part or the like, and the inclined mast part is rotatable within the vertical plane to the existing pile grasping part, so that both a vertical pile or pile sheet and an oblique pile can be pressed in. Thus, the temporary scaffold is dispensed with, and construction of an earth retaining wall or the like can be performed even in a narrow space having no setting place for the temporary scaffold, which is contributable to the shortening of the term of works and the saving of the construction cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
