PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet accumulation device, capable of storing paper sheets in a storage part so that the leading edges of the paper sheets in a dispensing direction are aligned when storing the paper sheets, while suppressing the increase of the size of a main body and the increase in cost. PSOLUTION: A motor driving part 36 rotates a guide member 32, according to the denomination of bank notes discriminated by a discrimination part 5. Accordingly, an edge in a conveyance direction side of the bank notes to be stored in a storage part 21 strike against a corresponding stage of a locking part 31 so that the bank notes are scraped and dropped to the storage part 21 by a sheet roller 25. Therefore, in the storage part 21, the bank notes are stacked with the edges of the bank notes opposite to the conveyance direction during storage, namely the edges in a side of a front end wall 21a aligned.
