PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for carrying chips separately having a straight feeder which carries chips in a row with a high-speed intermittent rotation of a rotor upon separating the chips one by one and setting in recesses formed on the rotor. ;SOLUTION: The forefront of a chip carrying groove 1a in a straight feeder 1 is provided in proximity mating with the inlet to each recess 3 formed on a rotor 2, and each chip (t) is set in the recess 3 from the forefront of the chip carrying groove 1a with a direct suction by a suction force generated at a suction hole 5 provided in the recess 3, and a stopper pin 6 is installed over the forefront of the groove 1a as capable of moving in the vertical direction, and a photo-sensor 7 is mounted at the forefront of the groove 1a or in the up-and-down position between the forefront and the inlet to the recess 3, and thus a separated carrying device is accomplished, wherein the groove 1a is provided at its one edge member with a notch 8 for discharging a chip in which a trouble is generated, and below this part, a troubled chip removing device is installed equipped with an air sucking removing hole 9 for discharging such troubled chips by suction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
