PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller for quickly recovering from a state when an emergency stop instruction is generated.;SOLUTION: Movement instructions commanded to each feeding shaft in each interpolation period are successively stored. The movable part interferes in another article 2, and an emergency stop instruction is generated at a position A, and the movable part stops at a position B. When the emergency stop instruction is generated, the respective shaft movement instructions in the respective interpolation periods are added for a time(time for two interpolation cycles) set from a movement instruction in the interpolation cycle at that time, and the code of the added value is inverted, and outputted as a movement instruction in one interpolation cycle. As a result, the movable part returns to a position C, and the interference of the other article 2 and the movable part is immediately prevented.
