SERVER FOR MANAGING IN-AREA LOCATION INFORMATION, SIP SERVER, AND METHOD FOR MANAGING IN-AREA LOCATION INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover in-area location information of an SIP server in order to provide normal services even when SIP server information for mobile terminals located within its service area is deleted from an in-area location information managing server.;SOLUTION: In-area location information of SIP servers with user terminals located in their service areas, and in-area location assurance flags are stored on an in-area location information managing table in advance. If information of registered SIP servers are lost due to a trouble of an in-area location information managing server 102; the in-area location assurance flag is set to "no assurance", and then all the SIP severs 101-1 to 101-3 are inquired about the in-area location information after recovery from the trouble. Owing to their answer, listed user in-area location information is acquired from the SIP severs 101-1 to 101-3 and the flag is changed to "assurance effective". The information of those SIP servers responded to the listed user in-area location information is registered on the in-area location information managing table as in-area location information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
