PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polling mode communication system 10 for a vehicle with a good communication efficiency irrespective of a pause of a partial mobile station 30.;SOLUTION: A plurality of n radio waves for a response signal is used. A radio wave for a polling signal may be used both as the one radio wave for the response signal. In order to cope with an imbalance of an assignment number of each group by a surplus and deficit of each mobile station 30, a polling command from a base station 20 to the mobile station 30 contains both a type of commands and a list of the mobile station 30 of a sending destination (a vehicle 35 mounting the mobile station 30). In the case of n=2, on a sending destination list, the odd-numbered mobile stations 30 belong to a group 1. The even-numbered mobile stations 30 belong to a group 2.
