PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently compile detachable products into a database and facilitate the selection of parts of the detachable products. PSOLUTION: The hierarchical database device includes a table storage means for storing a first product content table having a plurality of content data lines, and a second product content table having a plurality of content data lines and enabling combination to a first product in accordance with a reference relationship with respect to the first content table; a reference requirement storage means for storing reference requirements between the first and second product content tables; a selection means for selecting the first content data line designated from the first product content table; a picking means for picking out at least one of the second content data lines that matches the reference requirements from the second product content table in a way that corresponds to the first content data lines; and a synthesis means for creating a synthesized content table by synthesizing the first and second content data lines.
