PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of constructing and operating a Web-based business system consisting of a plurality of system devices and software. PSOLUTION: In an operation management system for the business system having a plurality of system devices, a storage means stores unit configuration information, a plurality of methods that make up a common interface, and programs associated with the respective methods. The common interface has at least a partial stop method for stopping units from operating as the business system, and a partial resume method for making the units resume operation as the business system. When an operation processing means performs the service operation to the prescribed system devices by stopping its operation as the business system, the units including the prescribed system devices are partially stopped and the service operation is performed.
