PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming tool for generating the very small, and smooth foam which is excellently stretched and not easily disappears, and to provide a method for washing a face, a body, and the front surfaces of various articles by using the foam.;SOLUTION: Cloth materials 1 have texture 1c being not more than 300 micrometers in length in every direction, wherein plain weave was carried out so as to alternately and vertically position warp yarn 1a and weft yarn 1b consisting of a synthetic resin fiber. The cloth materials 1 are vertically piled to have a double-layer structure. An air layer 3 is formed between both layers. The properly wet cloth materials 1 are properly applied with a soap for generating the foams by rubbing.
