PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crescent and a sash with the crescent for easily visually confirming a locking/unlocking state of the crescent.;SOLUTION: This sash is arranged in a meeting stile 52a of an inner sash window 4a among inner-outer sash windows arranged in a frame body 1, and locks the inner-outer sash windows by a locking means 14 arranged in a body part 11 fixed to the meeting stile. The locking means 14 is formed so that a part projects more than the body part 11, and is incorporated with a detecting mechanism of detecting a position of a magnet by installing the magnet in a projected part. A detecting device 60 formed separately from the body part is arranged in the vicinity of the body part 11, and is opposed to the projected part of the locking jeans 14. The detecting device 60 has a control circuit for turning on or flashing a light emitting part in response to the locking/unlocking state, when the detecting device detects a position of the locking means 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
