READER/WRITER FOR NONCONTACT IC CARD, AND AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely transfer a large amount of data when performing data transfer between vending machine side reader/writer and mobile type reader/writer through proximity IC card. PSOLUTION: An automatic vending machine management system comprises; an automatic vending machine 1 equipped with an automatic vending machine side reader/writer 12; a noncontact IC card 2 for maintenance which is carried by a customer engineer; a portable terminal 3 which is carried by the customer engineer. The automaic vending machine 1 transfers transaction data etc. to the portable terminal 3, and the portable terminal 3 transfers photographic negative data etc. to the automaic vending machine 1. When performing communication with the noncontact IC card 2 alternately with the automatic vending machine side reader/writer 12, the portable terminal 3 (reader/writer section 27) detects whether or not the noncontact IC card 2 which exists in a communication range is communicating between the automatic vending machine side reader/writers 12. When it is under communication, output of electromagnetic wave is forbidden, and when it does not detect that it is under communication, communication with the noncontact IC card 2 is performed.
