PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a circuit for generating and detecting an interband phase difference soliton with a simple structure, and for preventing influence of current at the time of detecting the interband phase difference soliton.;SOLUTION: A partial length of a multi-band superconductor line 10 is set to be a closed circuit line Rc of a part of a closed circuit where current Io flows in which a current source 12 generates. A continuously extended line is set to be an open circuit line Ro becoming an open circuit on the current source 12. The multi-band superconductor line 10 is set under a temperature environment below a critical soliton temperature, and non-balanced current Io flows into the closed circuit line Rc from the current source 12. Thus, the interband phase difference soliton So is generated, and it is sent out to the open circuit line Ro by separating it from current Io so as to make it travel. Josephson junction 15 is formed in the open circuit line Ro. The traveled interband phase difference soliton So is extinguished, and voltage generated by AC Josephson effect at that time is detected by a voltage detection device 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
