PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid state laser emitting a laser beam with a highly accurate directional angle.;SOLUTION: Laser light from a laser diode 15 enters a laser crystal 11 held on a holding plate 21 through an optical system 16 and excites the laser crystal 11. A light generated in the laser crystal 11 is reflected/resonated between the reflective coat 14 of an output side mirror 12 and the reflective coat 13 on the incident surface of the laser crystal 11 thus constituting an optical resonator 10. A laser beam transmitting the output side mirror 12 is passed through a correction lens 17 comprising a planoconcave lens before exiting the housing 30. Directional angle of the exiting laser beam with respect to a reference plane 31 is set to fall within a specified tolerance by adjusting the fixing position of the correction lens 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
