PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the acquisition efficiency of a target gene-transduced transformant, when various higher plants are transduced with genes by a genetic industrial method, and to promote the initial growth of the created transformant plant to increase the yield and increase environmental stress durability. PSOLUTION: The invention relates to a transformant acquisition efficiency-improving agent comprising an adenine-ribose phosphate transferase (APRT) or a gene encoding the same, an agent for improving the initial growth of the plant, an agent for increasing the yield of the plant, and/or an agent for reinforcing the environmental stress durability of the plant, and methods therefor.
