PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial additive while preventing drying at the surface, aiming at the storage stability and preventing the generation and growth of bacteria, and the like, in an ink product and excellent in compatibility with a general dyestuff and pigment, and an ink composition containing the same.;SOLUTION: This anti-bacterial additive which is a compound obtained by the chemical reaction of an antibacterial substance having the formula (1) (wherein, R₁ is H, hydroxy, amino, or the like: and R₂ to R₇ are each H, a halogen atom, amino, or the like) with a prescribed additive, and the ink composition containing a coloring agent, a solvent and the anti-bacterial agent are produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
