PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a large amount of bulbs of sandersonia by forming bulbs from the seedling plants obtained by culturing adventitious bud tissues induced by a specific method. ;SOLUTION: After adventitious bud tissues are induced by culturing the shoot apexes of sandersonia, bulbs are formed from the seedling plants obtained by culturing the adventitious bud tissues. In a preferred embodiment, the adventitious bud tissues are induced by culturing the sheet apexes of sandersonia in the Murashige and Skoog(MS) medium to which phytohormone such as cytokinin is added.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
