SLOT SPIRAL ANTENNA, SQUARE-SHAPED SLOT SPIRAL ANTENNA, AND ADJUSTMENT METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a simple antenna device to respond to either right-hand circularly polarized waves or left-hand circularly polarized waves by improving an antenna for transmitting/receiving electric waves in GHz bands.;SOLUTION: Orthogonal coordinates X-Y are supposedly provided on a face of a flat conductor board 3, and a first slot spiral is provided with a coordinate origin O 1 as a center, and a second slot spiral 2 is provided which is obtained by rotating the first slot spiral 180° around the coordinate origin. Both spirals are coupled at a point near the coordinate origin, and a feeding point 4 is provided at a 0 point corresponding to an opposite side of the slots. For example, a front face of the slot spiral antenna can transmit/receive only the right-hand circularly polarized waves, while the back face of the antenna can transmit/receive only the left-hand circularly polarized waves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
