PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate and efficient current adjusting method of a thermal overcurrent relay.;SOLUTION: In the thermal overcurrent relay, a process making a predetermined current pass at virtual position two points wherein an adjusting mechanism is changed by a predetermined amount, and a measuring action time until the contact of the thermal overcurrent relay is reversed; a process calculating a minimum action current value with which a ratio of the action time at the virtual position two points is generally same as a ratio of a relational expression between the action time at each of the virtual position two points and the minimum action time current value; and a process obtaining a true position of the adjusting mechanism wherein the thermal overcurrent relay is acted in a range of a regulated time and a current value according to a setting current by the minimum action current value are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
