PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile unit fitting method simple with a small number of processes and fit for automation by performing fitting between connectors respectively fitted to the body side and automobile unit side as a part of alignment for fitting the automobile unit to a body. ;SOLUTION: A female connector 20 electrically connected to wire harness, and a guide pin 5 for alignment are fixed onto a body side panel 4. The guide pin 5 is received into a guide pin receiving hole 3 fixed to an instrument panel, and the female connector 20 is fitted to a connector 10 fixed to the instrucment panel. The alignment of the instrument panel to the body panel 4 is thus performed by completing fitting between the connector 10 and the female connector 20, and dislocation between the connector 10 and the female connector 20 based on a dimensional error at the time of manufacture is absorbed by jogging of the connector 10 leading to the deformation of rubber bushes 13a, 13b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
