PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a view history storage device, a view history storage method, and a digital broadcast receiver capable of surely storing view history required to properly grasp users' preference by using a memory of a small capacity.;SOLUTION: The view history storage device includes: a digital broadcast reception unit; a timer acting like a time information acquisition means; an operation section; a view history temporary storage memory for temporarily storing the view history; and a view history storage nonvolatile memory for capable of permanently storing the view history. A control section manages the view history by each of areas divided by a time, and further the view history storage nonvolatile memory stores view history information including channels viewed by users in each area and a view time of each channel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
