PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively facilitate mounting and to certainly illuminate a central passage by visually recognizing a baggage shelf. PSOLUTION: This indoor illuminating device comprises a main interior light 10e disposed in a central part of the ceiling 10b, facing the central passage 10d of a bus 10, and in the longitudinal direction of the bus, and a pair of baggage shelves 12 disposed in the longitudinal direction of the bus so as to sandwich the main interior light. A plurality of modules 21 are mounted on respective central passage sides of the pair of baggage shelves continuously in the longitudinal direction of the bus, and at least one of the plurality of modules has an LED 24 as a sub interior light directed to the central passage d, a lens 26 for collecting light emitted from the LED to the central passage, and a cylindrical body 23a for fixing the lens and surrounding a light bundle emitted from the LED 24. Each of the plurality of modules 21 is provided with an electric wire 27 for supplying LED, a male connector 28, and a female connector 29, the plurality of modules 21 are built in the load shelves 12, and power is supplied to the LED 24 while the male connector 28 is connected to the female connector 29.
