PURPOSE: To provide a hub housed a generator for a bicycle which is arranged so that plural power generating coil parts become compact and electric power is reliably generated. ;CONSTITUTION: Among three power generating coil parts 11a, 11b and 11c, iron core members 15 of adjacent 11a and 11b, and 11b and 11c contact with each other, and the power generating coil parts 11a to 11c are compactly arranged in the hub axial direction. First magnetic pole pieces 15a and second magnetic pole pieces 15b of the respective iron core members 15 of the power generating coil parts 11a and 11c are positioned in the same place in the circumferential direction of power generating coils, and the second magnetic pole pieces 15b of the respective iron core members 15 of the power generating coil parts 11a and 11c and the first magnetic pole pieces 15a of the iron core members 15 of the power generating coil part 11b are positioned in the same place in the circumferential direction of the power generating coils.
