PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the component of high concentration eluted from a column from being discarded by the trouble of a detector or a multiple-way valve.;SOLUTION: The detector 16 detects the concentration of the component contained in the sample eluted from the column 15 and a fraction collector 20 has an arm 17a, a three-way solenoid valve 17b, a nozzle 17c and a test tube support part 18. The three-way solenoid valve 17b has three ports 32a, 32b and 32c. When the concentration of the component higher than a predetermined level is detected by the detector 16, a control device 19 allows the ports 32a and 32b to communicate with each other. In a case that the concentration detection level due to the detector 16 is higher than the predetermined level and it is detected that the outflow of the liquid from the port 32c of the three-way solenoid valve 17b is sensed by a liquid sensor 31 in a peak mode (or in a case that the outflow of the liquid is not detected by both of two liquid sensors 31 and 41), the control device 19 stops a pump 13 temporarily.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
