PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a nanoscale helical microstructure and a microchannel using a chiral block copolymer.;SOLUTION: The method for constructing a sequence of nanoscale microstructure comprises the step(1) of forming a block copolymer composed of a plurality of 1st polymer blocks and a plurality of 2nd polymer blocks, wherein at least the 1st polymer blocks are chiral polymer blocks exhibiting chirality and both of the 1st and 2nd polymer blocks are capable of undergoing micro phase separation and the volume fraction of the 1st polymer blocks is 10-90%, and the step(2) of causing micro phase separation in the chiral block copolymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
