PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic reinforcing method for an existing building using a steel brace of excellent workability securing a predetermined clearance without causing noise, dust, odor, or the like.;SOLUTION: The aseismatic reinforcing method of arranging the framed steel brace within a structure plane of a frame composed of columns and beams of the existing building and joining a frame body 2 of the steel brace to building skeletons 11, 12, is characterized in that a clearance of predetermined dimensions is secured between the outer periphery of the frame body 2 and the building skeletons 11, 12 to arrange a nonwoven fiber mat 9 with vesicular void inside, in the clearance and that mortar is injected in the clearance and impregnated into the nonwoven fiber mat 9 and hardened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
