PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform moving image editing that adds a transition effect and to easily confirm a transition effect even in a portable terminal with comparatively low throughput. PSOLUTION: An image processing part 131 generates a transition moving image in which moving images are gradually shifted on the basis of the first frame or the last frame of one or two original moving images with respect to a photographed moving image or a moving image downloaded through a network and connects the transition moving image to the an original moving image to generate a moving image with a transition effect added. In addition, the image processing part 131 extracts only nine frames from the transition moving image, generates thumbnails from the frames, and sequentially arranges and displays the thumbnails on one picture when the generated transition moving image is reproduced for preview in order to confirm the transition effect.
