PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening method and a washer and an auxiliary washer in which even if an insulating substance is coated on the surface of a fastening object, a secure conduction can be obtained.;SOLUTION: The inner end part in radius direction of a projection 61 provided on a washer 6 is arranged on the rotating direction side at the time of fastening a screw from the outer end part in radius direction, and the projection 61 is arranged so as to contact the substrate. Therefore, when the washer 6 rotates against the substrate, the coating on the surface of the substrate is peeled off by the projection 61. Then, the coating chips peeled off is swept from the inner end part in the radius direction to the outer end part in the radius direction and to the outside of the washer 6 in order.
