PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody material piece orienting and laminating method for obtaining a woody laminated mat not disturbed in orientation and large in thickness when a high strength woody composite material is obtained by pressing and molding woody material pieces, wherein a fiber direction is larger than a width or length direction, along with a binder, and a woody laminated mat molding apparatus.;SOLUTION: A plurality of orientation and lamination devices, each of which is equipped with a supply device for quantitatively supplying elongated woody material pieces, to which a binder is bonded, and an orientation device for arranging the woody material pieces almost in a length direction to orient them, are provided above a feeder so as to form a row. The woody material pieces, which are oriented by the orientation device while controlling the supply amount of the woody material pieces per a unit time to a predetermined value by the supply device, are laminated on the feeders. The upper surface height of the laminated woody laminated mat is flatly leveled and the woody material pieces oriented by a next orientation and lamination device are further stacked and laminated to further make the woody laminated mat thick.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
