PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying method of a woody laminated mat which can convey and transfer the woody laminated mats oriented and stacked on conveying equipment to press molding equipment, without disturbing the shape of a stack and the state of orientation in the course of conveyance, and can transfer them into a mold of a press, a method of manufacturing a woody composite material by that method, and side guides for conveying the woody laminated mats which are used for the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: A plurality of pairs of side guides are provided in lines on the conveying equipment disposed in an extent from the lower part of orienting-laminating equipment to the press molding equipment, and elastic sheets of which the fore ends are extended from the end parts in the direction of advance of the side guides are provided on the inside surfaces of the side guides. The woody laminated mats loaded on conveying implements moved on the conveying equipment are transferred on this equipment in a state of the opposite sides of the mats being brought into contact with the sheets, and the upstream-side side guides are brought into contact with the downstream-side side guides, while the ends of extension of the sheets provided for the upstream-side side guides are inserted inside the sheets on the upstream side of the downstream-side side guides. Thus, the woody laminated mats are transferred to the downstream-side side guides, while the opposite sides of the mats are made to slide on the surfaces of the sheets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
