Production method of cross-linked polycarbosilane

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new crosslinked polycarbosilane having ethylenic double bonds and silicon-hydrogen bonds in a main chain, wherein the main chain has a fundamental unit composed of one silicon atom and two carbon atoms, and the crosslinked polycarbosilane is useful as a heat-resistant material, a ceramic precursor and the like, and to provide a method for producing the crosslinked polycarbosilane and a heat-resistant material obtained from the same.;SOLUTION: The crosslinked polycarbosilane has a structure with a repeating unit represented by general formula (I) in a main chain, wherein a Si atom composing a main chain of another molecule is added to a part of a double bond in the repeating unit. In general formula (I), R¹ denotes a monovalent group selected from an alkyl group, an aryl group and an aralkyl group; and R² denotes a group represented by formula (II).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
