PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize furthermore nucleic acid recovery efficiency of a nucleic acid recovery apparatus.;SOLUTION: This nucleic acid recovery apparatus is equipped with a mesh-shaped nucleic acid capturing solid phase. Since the nucleic acid capturing solid phase has the mesh shape, a fluid resistance when a nucleic acid including sample permeates the nucleic acid capturing solid phase can be reduced, while securing a sufficient solid phase volume for capturing a large quantity of nucleic acid. Hereby, even if the sample is made to permeate the nucleic acid capturing solid phase at high sucking discharging speed, a force applied to the nucleic acid capturing solid phase is weak, and the nucleic acid capturing solid phase is hardly deformed. The average porosity of the mesh exerting an influence on the efficiency for capturing the nucleic acid by the mesh-shaped nucleic acid capturing solid phase is hardly changed.
