PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a part wherein a hinge reinforcement is disposed without a substantial increase in weight.;SOLUTION: The cross section of the hinge reinforcement 30 as viewed from above and under a door is shaped like a U-letter with its opening part directed toward the rear of the door, while the upper side part 30C of the door's outer side wall part 30B and the upper edge 28B of the door's outer panel 28 are connected by means of hemming work. Furthermore, the lower side part 30D of the door's outer side wall part 30B of the hinge reinforcement 30 is linked with the door's outer panel 28 with an adhesive 44, and the rear edge 30F of the door's outer side wall part 30B of the hinge reinforcement 30 is welded by spot welding, etc., to a step part 50A formed at the front edge of a belt line reinforcement 50.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
