PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methyl transferase associated with a betaine synthesis, a gene encoding the transferase, an organism capable of representing environmental resistance in high level by the transformation using the gene, and a transforming method for creating the organism.;SOLUTION: Two kinds of the methyl transferase associated with the betaine synthesis are obtained from a salt tolerant blue-green algae.
