PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data multiplex transmission/reception system without the need of intricate controls, which can be manufactured in a smaller scale with a lower cost, in a system that a plurality of MPEG video data are multiplexed and transmitted, and moreover each video data are simultaneously displayed on the receiving side.;SOLUTION: An MPEG encoded video data inputted from each of inputting units 10a to 10d are divided into each GOP at dividing units 30a to 30d, and are subjected to switching control for each GOP according to a video list information at a stream reconfiguring unit 40, and are transmitted by a transmitting unit 70. The video list information is the information for determining the transmission order for a plurality of video data, and video data are transmitted sequentially for each GOP according to the order.
