PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire internal fault detecting device and a tire internal fault detecting method, detecting an internal fault occurring in a tire while a vehicle including a wheel to which the tire is mounted travels with high accuracy. PSOLUTION: Tire information on the rolling tire is acquired, and according to tire information, a deformation amount of a grounded part of the wire during the traveling of the vehicle is derived. On the basis of the derived deformation amount, an evaluation value for determining the presence/absence of the occurrence of the internal fault is calculated, and the calculated evaluation value is compared with a predetermined reference value to determine whether an internal fault occurs in the interior of the tire.
