PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that is safe because of free from exposure to X-rays, is low in price, can indicate risk of osteoporosis accurately, and enables appropriate advice.;SOLUTION: The osteoporosis determining device has a first input means to which a fat free mass of a subject is inputted, a second input means to which a height of the subject is inputted, a calculation means that calculates a bone density based on the data from the first input means and the data from the second input means, a comparison means that determines the condition of the subject's bone by comparing a bone density value calculated by the calculation means and a standard bone density value, and a display means that displays a determination result obtained from the calculation means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
