PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a steel element structure extending almost along one direction while easily correcting a construction error. PSOLUTION: A method is provided for forming the steel element structure by connecting a plurality of steel elements in a state of extending almost along one direction, wherein each steel element is provided with first and second flanges opposedly disposed almost parallel with each other in the almost coincident state of a center axis in the width direction, one of which is formed wider than the other. In a general part, the second flange and first flange of a new steel element are connected to the first flange and second flange of the steel element respectively to connect the steel elements toward one direction side. When the connected direction of the steel elements deviates from one direction, the first flange and second flange of the new steel element are connected to the first flange and second flange of the steel element respectively to correct the deviation of the connected direction from the above one direction.
