PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission type light scattering sheet with both high luminance and minuteness compatible with each other, by using plural island polymers having different refractive indexes from one another. ;SOLUTION: This sheet is composed of a sea polymer and plural island polymers not only having different refractive indexes from that of the sea polymer but also being different in refractive index from one another. The island polymers comprise a first island polymer and a second island polymer, the refractive index difference between the first island polymer and the sea polymer is in the range of 0.005 to 0.1, and the refractive index difference between the second island polymer and the sea polymer is in the range of 0.5 to 0.2. The gross amount of the plural island polymers is 5 to 50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the sea polymer. The weight ratio of the first island polymer to the second island polymer is (25:75) to (95:5).
