Meso/racemic - bis (indenyl) ethane production manner and use null of zirconium dichloride

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for meso/recemic [bis(indenyl)- ethane]zirconium dichloride. ;SOLUTION: In this process, (a) the solid reaction product from bis(indenyl) ethane legend and an alkyllithium in a solvent as a reaction medium is allowed to react with zirconium tetrachloride and (b) a solid mixture of meso/racemic composition of [bis(indenyl)-ethane]zirconium dichloride with lithium chloride is recovered.
