PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group robot system which efficiently obtains detailed entire information on an object.;SOLUTION: The group robot system includes a plurality of sensing robots CS, and a base station BS101 and a pheromone robot FE105 for controlling the robots CS. When the sensing robots CS complete the search of the object, the base station BS101 or pheromone robot FE105 outputs a control signal, and moves the sensing robot CS30 that has detected the object, and the sensing robot CS that has made a follow-up search, out of the current search area to join the other sensing robot group that has already moved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
