PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional path inputting device capable of easily setting and inputting a three-dimensional path on which a user is able to move in a three-dimensional space.;SOLUTION: A two-dimensional path inputting means 3 inputs a three- dimensional path on which a user is able to virtually move in a three- dimensional virtual space 2 on a plane without considering the height. A two-dimensional sub-path dividing means 4 groups the inputted path data into partial paths on which the user is able to move to the same height, and divides those paths into sub-paths. A sub-path three-dimensional extending means 5 prepares three-dimensional sub-paths by setting the movement of the height direction by the user for each grouped sub-paths. A sub-path temporary storing means 8 temporarily stores those prepared three-dimensional sub-paths. A sub-path connecting means 6 connects those three-dimensional sub-paths, and a three- dimensional path data base 9 preservers the connected three-dimensional path.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
