PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heating coal particles charged in the vicinity of an oven lid of a coke-carbonizing oven by accelerating the temperature elevation of the coal particles in the vicinity of the oven lid of the coke-carbonizing oven to further promote the formation of cokes.;SOLUTION: This method for heating coal particles charged in the vicinity of the oven lid of the coke-carbonizing oven is provided by connecting a gas flow box 12 having a heat resistant structure, installed with a gas flow port communicating with the coke-carbonizing oven 3 on its wall surface and installed with a gas-jetting nozzle 19, adjacently to a heat insulation box 7 installed at the oven side of an oven lid structural body 1 for closing/opening an entrance port 4 of the coke-carbonizing oven 3 for charging coal particles 2, and also burning by blowing air, oxygen and other combustible gas necessary for burning a gas generated in the oven and sucked into the gas flow box 12 from a gas ejection nozzle 19, while comparing a detected pressure value in the oven by an oven pressure-detecting tool 21 installed at the coke-carbonizing oven 3 and a detected pressure value in the box by a box inner pressure-detecting tool 22 installed in the gas flow box 12, and also while performing a low pressure control for sucking the gas generated in the coke-carbonizing oven 3 into the gas flow box 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
