PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the man-hour by mounting a sensor for detecting the overflow of a sub-tank on a hopper device and integrating a wire for transmitting signals of the sensor with a wire harness of the hopper device. PSOLUTION: The hopper device 310 comprises a hopper tank 21 for reserving medals and a hopper body 21a for discharging medals reserved in the hopper tank 21 one by one. The sub-tank 70 is disposed on the right side of the hopper device 310 for subordinately storing medals if the hopper device 310 is filled with medals. A medal detection sensor 24 for detecting that the sub-tank 70 is filled with medals horizontally projects from the right side of the hopper body 21a to the sub-tank 70.
