PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a louver fin for a heat exchanger from being rounded in a manufacturing stage even when a direction of an opening of a louver of the louver fin of the heat exchanger is asymmetrical in a widthwise direction thereof.;SOLUTION: A first louver fin 23 is formed by forming a bend section 23a and a flat section 23b alternately continuously into a corrugated configuration, and a plurality of louvers 25 each having an oblique opening 25a are formed in parallel in widthwise direction of the flat section 23b. The louvers 25 are adapted such that the respective openings thereof are formed in the same direction over the entire surface of the flat section 23b, and the respective openings are formed in the same direction for the continuous all flat sections 23b. A second louver fin 33 where the openings 35a of the louvers 35 are directed reversely is provided on one side of a band shaped thin plate in the widthwise direction thereof through a separable portion 40, and after the fin is assembled between the tubes, it is broken out from the separable portion 40, and the broken surfaces are formed uniformly on one side of the continuous fins 23, 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
