AN INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF FIN SPACING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF LOUVERED PLATE-FIN HEAT EXCHANGER SURFACES

This report contains the results of basic hest transfer and flow friction tests of these fin-spacing variations of louvered plate-fin type high rating heat exchanger surfaces. A 1 three surfaces have the sane plate spacing and louver length. The heat transfer and flow friction characteristics, respectively, are given in both tabular and graphical from using the dimensionless correlations, (h/Gcp) pr2/3 and f versus Ref.
