PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust sweeping device for a road sweeper which is large in lifting amount and also large in the diameter of a sweeping brush.;SOLUTION: The sweeping brush 11 of the dust sweeping device 1 is formed by arranging brush bodies 23 on both right and left sides of the center of a brush shaft 22 opposite to a propeller shaft 3. A circular-curved top plate 12 of the dust sweeping device 1 has an insertion groove 29 for the propeller shaft 3 formed at a central upper portion of the brush shaft 22. When the dust sweeping device 1 is lifted, the propeller shaft 3 is withdrawn into the insertion groove 29 and brought extremely closer to the brush 22, and therefore the lifting amount is increased enabling the extension of the brush diameter, to thereby contribute to the extension of the life of the brush in terms of abrasion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
